This lens has a soft taste that matches film simulation.
An F1.4 single focal length lens for the FUJIFILM X mount has been added to Tokina's lineup of atx-m, a series of lenses exclusively for mirrorless cameras. This single focal length lens has a standard focal length of 33mm (equivalent to 50mm in 35mm format) and an easy-to-use focal range.
By designing the optics exclusively for APS-C mirrorless cameras, a compact filter size of 52mm was achieved despite the large F1.4 aperture.
It is also equipped with an STM (stepping motor) for quiet and fast autofocusing and an aperture ring for click-free, stepless aperture operation in video.

Optical design that achieves a soft taste and takes bokeh into consideration. With 9 aperture blades, even the shape of the blur in the background is carefully designed.

In order to maintain the "small size and light weight" advantage of mirrorless cameras, the lens was designed to be compact and lightweight, optimized for APS-C mirrorless cameras. While adopting a metal lens barrel that is a joy to hold, the lens weighs less than 300g and is compact with a filter size of 52mm.
- Quiet and fast AF
The STM (stepping motor) provides quiet, fast, and accurate autofocusing.
- Equipped with an aperture ring for movies
The lens barrel is equipped with an aperture ring that does not click at the aperture stage. This allows the aperture ring to be used for stepless brightness adjustment during movie recording. Also, by setting the aperture ring to the "A" position, the aperture can be controlled on the camera side. (A click is provided on the aperture at the F16 and A positions to prevent malfunction.)
