Product Features
The Tokina atx-m 56mm F1.4 X is a compact and lightweight lens that does not compromise the advantages of mirrorless cameras, just like the atx-m series X-mount lenses (23mm F1.4 X, 33mm F1.4 X) released to date. The metal lens barrel is a joy to hold, yet weighs only 315g and has a compact filter size of 52mm.
- Large aperture F1.4 with soft tones that take film simulation into consideration
The optical design takes into account the bokeh effect unique to mid-telephoto lenses to achieve soft tones. The use of nine aperture blades and a circular diaphragm even allows the background to be out of focus.
- Quiet and fast autofocus, ideal for movies
The ST-M (stepping motor) provides quiet, fast, and accurate autofocusing. It is also suitable for shooting movies.
- Equipped with a click-free aperture ring
The lens barrel is equipped with an aperture ring that does not click at the aperture stage. This allows for intuitive aperture control, and also makes it possible to change the aperture all at once when shooting movies.
