With a standard 27mm focal length (equivalent to 41mm in 35mm format), this highly versatile lens can capture images with a natural perspective.

The lens features the outstanding resolution performance that has earned high praise from the previous FUJINON Lens XF27mmF2.8 model, allowing photographers to capture even the smallest details of their subjects.

Compact design with a length of 23mm and a weight of approx. 84g.

- Outstanding resolution performance and compact design
The lens construction consists of 7 elements in 5 groups, including 1 aspherical lens element, to thoroughly suppress spherical aberration, curvature of the image plane, and distortion. The lens delivers high resolution performance from the widest aperture setting, allowing you to take photographs in which every detail of the subject is captured in sharp detail.

The lens uses a focusing system that extends the front five elements of the lens to minimize aberration variation with shooting distance. In addition, the powerful DC motor provides high-speed, high-precision autofocusing for comfortable shooting of high-quality images.

Despite its outstanding resolution performance, the lens is the thinnest and lightest in the latest lineup of XF lenses (*1), with a compact design measuring 23 mm in length and approximately 84 g in weight. It offers excellent portability and can be easily carried around with the lens attached to a mirrorless digital camera. The lens is also less intimidating to the subject, allowing the photographer to bring out the natural expression of the subject in portrait photography and other situations.

*1: Excluding the existing FUJINON Lens XF27mmF2.8 model, which will be discontinued with the release of the new XF27mmF2.8 R WR

- Aperture ring for comfortable operability
The aperture ring is equipped with an aperture indicator. The aperture ring allows the photographer to quickly check and change the aperture value, which is useful for snapshots and other situations that require instantaneous adjustments of shooting settings.

A (auto) position lock (*2) is adopted. The aperture ring can be locked to prevent accidental movement of the aperture ring from the A position during shooting, ensuring reliable operation.

*2: Turning the aperture ring from F16 to the A position locks the aperture ring, and turning it from the A position to F16 while pressing the lock release button unlocks the ring.

- High toughness performance
Sealing is applied in 7 places to achieve dustproof, drip-proof, and -10C low-temperature resistant construction. This lens can cope with sudden rain during outdoor shooting.
